LEBANON, Tenn. (August 13, 2009) –In an ongoing effort to improve the lives of the physically challenged, Permobil hosted its first Power of You conference for licensed physical therapists July 8-July 10 at the Sheraton Music City in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Power of You conference was designed to challenge and energize physical and occupational therapist to fight for the end-user to obtain the appropriate equipment.
With over 55 attendees and nine presenters, the goal was empowerment through education. Topics of the course lectures ranged from evidence-based practice to the relationship between vision, movement and posture. Therapists were also treated to the sights and sounds of Music City as well as a tour of the Permobil facility and wheelchair test track.
