Environmental policy
Permobil AB and our subsidiaries will work towards an ecologically-sustainable society by economising on resources and showing consideration for the environment when selecting products, activities and services.

We must

• reduce our consumption of finite materials and natural resources such as metals and fossil fuels, and be better stewards of renewable resources such as water and fibreboard. This can be achieved in part by increased recycling.

• reduce the use and proliferation of non-degradable and harmful materials and increase the use of renewable resources and energy sources, for example when choosing materials and maintaining our properties.

• strive to continually reduce our impact on natural diversity and biological productive capacity.

• apply lifecycle thinking and work to improve the environment at all levels by such means as environmental labelling when designing and modifying our activities, products and services.

• regularly evaluate risks and prevent and mimimise the effects of unintended emissions, noise and environmental accidents.

• ensure employees’ commitment to the environment and continually raise our environmental knowledge.

• by open dialogue communicate environmental awareness and continually evaluate our environmental policy, goals and results, making our audits available to customers, suppliers, employees and the general public.
