The Push Handles mount to the backrest hinge and allow the wheelchair to be pushed by a caregiver (to fine tune the position of wheelchair for vehicle transport, when the power source is depleted, etc.) For configurations with a low 20″ backrest, the push handles can provide a place to hook the elbow to provide pressure relief, stability and promote safe forward or lateral reach.
