With Boa, equal and stable pressure distribution is accomplished in an “off-the-shelf” back design.
The open back frame design gives the ability to offload the pressure typically seen on spinal deformities through the back frame opening.
Available head support attaches through the use of a bracket giving the necessary clearances to accommodate more aggressive deformities.
The BOA System
BOA’s patented system consists of three integral parts: a micro-adjustable dial, super-strong lightweight laces, and low friction lace guides. The BOA System is micro-adjustable as each click of the BOA dial offers one millimetre of precision fit adjustment. The BOA System is secure once the dial is locked into place, staying that way. BOA delivers a smooth, even adjustment with no pressure points for maximum comfort and a customisable fit.
Compass® 4 Hardware
Compass® 4 Hardware is strong, light, and independently adjustable in depth and angle of recline. The Compass® 4 Hardware is easier to adjust and has a wider range of motion than leading competitor hardware.
Pressure Redistribution Properties
Unlike traditional back supports that can create peak pressure regions, the Relief uses the BOASystem to accommodate deformities and allow for immersion through the shell creating even pressure along the entire back.
