How we Collect your Personal Information?

Roles and Responsibilities

When interacting with the services and providing information about yourself, the following applies.

• Permobil: Acts, depending on the circumstances, as both data controller and processor, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and handling personal data for product and service delivery.
• User of the service: The individual interacting with our services and providing personal data as part of that interaction.

Sharing your Data with Third-Parties

Permobil will not sell, rent, transfer, disclose or otherwise permit the use of your Personal Information by advertisers or non-disclosed third-parties. We share your data only when necessary and under strict privacy safeguards:

• Third-Party Service Providers: We engage trusted third parties for technical support and operational functions. These providers process data solely on Permobil’s behalf and adhere to contractual data protection obligations. 
• Sub-Processors: Certain features require integration with external providers. Some data-sharing preferences can be managed through our Cookie Settings Platform. Details on data-sharing specifics are available on individual service pages. 
• Collaborations with Selected Partners: We may share anonymized or pseudonymized data with health institutions, researchers, and non-profits to support innovation, medical advancements, and accessibility improvements. Identifiable data is only shared with explicit consent.

Legal Basis for Processing Your Data

Contract – When processing is necessary to fulfill a contract with the data subject or to take steps prior to entering into a contract.
📜 Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) – "processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party..."

Legal Obligation – When processing is required to comply with a legal obligation, such as tax reporting or employment law.

Vital Interests – When processing is necessary to protect someone’s life or physical integrity, typically in emergency situations.

Public Task – When processing is carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority.

Legitimate Interests – When processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party, provided these interests are not overridden by the data subject’s rights and freedoms.
