Dreamline Sidewinder Suspension System
The Sidewinder Suspension System adds a dynamic function to any Dreamline Support, S3, STX, and Contour backrest, without requiring modification to the wheelchair frame and maintaining the adjustability of the backrest.
The dynamic resistance levels can be easily adjusted by exchanging elastomer pads or changing the set-up position on the backrest.
According to RESNA’s position on the Application of Dynamic Seating*, a dynamic back support can help to reduce pain, increase seating tolerance, lower energy consumption of the user, decrease injury, decrease the incidence of equipment breakage, and increase function.
Adjustability
The backrest retains its width, height, depth, and angle adjustability.Replaceable elastomer pads

The system enables the backrest to be locked and unlocked for safe travel.

**The Sidewinder Suspension system has been successfully crash tested to ISO 71716-19 & WC20 for forward facing travel in a motor vehicle. When occupied in a motor vehicle, Dreamline backrests must only be used on wheelchair frames which provide four anchorage points & pelvic belt anchor points which comply with the requirements of RESNA WC-4:2012, Section 19.
