Active Air Therapy
Active Air Therapy changes the load distribution properties of a support surface. Power is used to alter the immersion and envelopment characteristics of the surface, control the microclimate, and/or periodically redistribute the pressure. This is especially required for patients with limited or no mobility.
Automatic Pump Features - Auto Adjust
Auto-Adjust: Cell pressure auto-adjusts to provide the optimal pressure setting based on the weight distribution differences of the patient, offering an enhanced and specialised quality of care and reduced risk for caregivers. This technology relieves caregivers of any manual setup, assures maximum comfort for the patient, and reduces the risk of incorrect setup.
Firm Foam Surround
The Airmonte A8 air mattress system can be adapted to fit any bed base size or configuration. Additional width and/or length is achieved by encasing the air system within a firm foam surround. It is constructed using high specification foam on the base, ends & sides, and one complete pressure care cover encasing the foam and air components.

Advantiflex Cover

The Airmonte comes standard with the Advantiflex cover which is a high-performance, single-sided Polyurethane (PU1100) that has a 4-way stretch for shear protection, immersion, and envelopment. This cover is vapour permeable and breathable, flexible, and gentle to the skin while being resistant to patient body fluids. Stain resistant and Antimicrobial protected and has 1,000ppm disinfection chemical suitability. All the seams are high frequency sealed and welded to prevent ingress of fluid or infection and has a 360°, four-sided zipper which a waterfall fluid penetration flap.

Quality, Ergonomic Pump Unit
This compact and efficient pump is ergonomically designed with an easy-to-operate panel. Quality componentry is resulting in a very quiet pump operation. The Airmonte pump will auto-adjust to pressure to suit the patient weight.
Pump Control Panel Functions
Adjustable cycle times from 10-25 minutes as well as the ability to adjust the comfort level to suit the patient. The max-inflate options allowed for easy repositioning and transfer and will revert to the previous setting after one cycle.
Alternating Cell Construction
This mattress system has 17 interchangeable alternating cells that simultaneously allowing oxygen flow to all critical areas, aiding in the prevention of pressure injuries. The 20.3cm height of the mattress allows for maximum patient immersion. Strengthened flexible TPU construction maintains mattress integrity for longevity while remaining ultra-flexible with soft-touch material resulting in better immersion and envelopment with no sound of ‘crackling’ when alternating.
