Permobil today announced the launch of Progeo Yoga Evo, a folding wheelchair that combines compact portability with responsive handling and contemporary Italian design. With a transport weight starting at just 8.9 kg and a folded width of only 28 cm, Yoga Evo is designed to simplify loading, transportation and storage while delivering an active driving experience. Featuring a patented one-movement folding system and enhanced rigidity, Yoga Evo combines everyday practicality with responsive performance and a highly configurable design.

As Progeo celebrates 30 years of innovation in manual wheelchairs, Yoga Evo builds on the brand's long-standing design and engineering heritage while benefiting from Permobil's global expertise in advanced mobility solutions.

At the heart of Yoga Evo is a patented one-movement folding system that enables the frame and backrest to fold together in a single fluid motion, making the chair easier to handle throughout the day.

An integrated rigidizer bar enhances frame stiffness and responsiveness, helping deliver smoother propulsion and more confident maneuverability. The result is a more dynamic driving experience while maintaining the convenience of a folding wheelchair.

Yoga Evo also introduces a refined design language with clean lines, integrated components and a streamlined frame architecture. New caster arm and footplate designs improve functionality and component integration while reinforcing Progeo's focus on purposeful design.

Designed to simplify loading, transportation and storage, Yoga Evo folds into a compact package that is easy to handle throughout the day. A dual locking system helps keep the chair compact and secure when folded.
Yoga Evo also offers extensive adjustment possibilities, including multiple center-of-gravity settings, stepless seat and front height adjustments, and adjustable back angle options. This allows clinicians and users to fine-tune positioning, comfort and driving characteristics to meet changing needs over time.

Availability
Progeo Yoga Evo will be available from September 23, 2026, in Italy, Germany, and selected distributor markets. Availability will expand across the EMEA region in early 2027.
