Meet Gem Turner

We’re proud to have Gem Turner as a Permobil Ambassador and a driving force behind the new Permobil Community. Based in West Yorkshire, Gem brings her unique voice, creativity, and lived experience as a wheelchair user to everything she does. With a sharp eye for detail and a love for storytelling (with a few jokes thrown in), Gem has helped shape much of the content you see across our platform. Living with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Type 3), Gem is passionate about representation and making sure disabled voices are heard and celebrated. Her sparkle, insight, and authenticity are at the heart of our community - and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
