Permobil power wheelchairs enabled with +Connect work quietly in the background to reduce interruptions in everyday life.
Built-in connectivity supports reliability and long term performance thanks to remote service support, configuration and troubleshooting. The accompanying MyPermobil app provides peace of mind for end-users with usage- and battery status- information.
We know that connectivity raises questions for some around privacy and data use. That is why +Connect is built with clear boundaries that focus on using only the information needed to deliver practical benefits over the life of the chair.
Power Platform and +Connect form the core digital infrastructure of this power wheelchair, combining advanced assistive technology with smart connectivity. Connected from the factory (Since August 27, 2026), this chair is online and ready for proactive service, remote insights, and efficient support from day one. The connected chair reflects Permobil’s commitment to reliability, transparency, and confidence over the life of the chair.
As of October 1, 2026, built-in connectivity is enabled across existing Power Platform wheelchairs in the field. This retro-activation allows chairs to transmit technical data to support improved serviceability, diagnostics, and overall user experience.
No additional hardware or service visits are required; connectivity is already built into the wheelchair and will activate automatically in the background.
The Fleet Management portal redefines service for equipment providers and service technicians. Access vital data and status on your fleet of connected wheelchairs to troubleshoot and resolve issues remotely.
