Privacy Notice Permobil D365 platform for services, sales and customer support in France
This Privacy Notice explains how Permobil process your data as Medical Device Users (Consumers) within the D365 platform for services, sales and support in France.

Roles and Responsibilities
Roles listed in the general Privacy Notice page applies, as well as the following roles specific for D365:
- Permobil: Provides direct support to Consumers and acts as the data controller, collecting User data from various sources. Permobil process the data within D365 to provide services, sales and customer support for the fulfilment of contract with the Consumers. Permobil is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable privacy regulations.
- Medical Device Users/Consumers: The individual whose data is processed within D365, this for Permobil to be able to fulfil the contract with the users.
Categories of Data Processed
Data Provided About Consumers
Information about Consumers can be provided by the Consumers themselves or from other external parties connected to the Consumers such as rehabilitation centers, clinics, social security, caregivers, or family members.
The purpose for providing the information is for services, sales and support related to the requests provided by the Consumers. These data categories might include but are not limited to:
Personal Identification Data
- Full name (first and last name).
- Contact details (address, phone number, and email).
- Date of birth or age range.
- Unique identifiers (e.g., order ID, patient number assigned by the Customer).
Health and Sensitive Data
To enable highly specialized customization, support and services, the following health-related and sensitive data may be processed:
- Physical Measurements: Height, weight, body dimensions, and posture details.
- Clinical Details: Diagnoses, conditions, or limitations impacting mobility or seating
(e.g., muscular dystrophy, scoliosis, or other orthopedic or neurological conditions). - Functional Requirements: Range of motion, pressure sensitivity, or specific
therapeutic goals (e.g., prevention of pressure sores, support for specific anatomical
areas). - Medical Assessments: Documentation of physical or functional status provided by
healthcare professionals, such as rehabilitation reports or evaluations.
Photos, Videos, or Scans
If required for support, services and device customization, the following types of visual data may be submitted:
- Photos: Images depicting posture, body alignment, or other customization-related
details. - Videos: Clips illustrating mobility challenges or seating preferences.
- Scans or Blueprints: Digital files, such as 3D scans of body contours or CAD files of
prior configurations.
Usage Preferences and Feedback
To ensure optimal customization support and services, the following preference-related data may be collected:
- Device Usage Context: Information about typical environments or activities (e.g.,
indoor vs. outdoor use, sports participation, etc.). - Specific Functional Needs: Details on features such as recline angles, support
padding, or weight-bearing capacity. - User Feedback: Experiences with previous devices, satisfaction levels, and areas for
improvement.
Consumer data processed by Permobil employees is restricted through role based access.
Customer Responsibilities
Informed of processing of data and purpose of processing: By submitting Consumer data by telephone, email or other ways of contact the submitter has been informed of Permobil role as a data processor and of the purposes of data sharing which could be for services and support. Information is provided through this Privacy Notice as well as through other Permobil channels of communications such as Permobil external pages and by phone from Permobil representatives.
Data Quality: Submitter does all it can to safeguard that all submitted data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
Authorization: The different parties that share the data regarding a Consumer is authorized to share the data with Permobil for the purposes described.
Where we Store your Data
Data is stored electronically in secure servers and services provided by the following vendors, within subscriptions owned and managed by Permobil. The service agreements of the subscriptions regulate the data in these subscriptions to be owned by Permobil.
Microsoft Azure - Data center located in Dublin, Ireland.
Sub-Processors
Permobil is using trusted third-party service providers (sub-processors) as part of the service offering. These service providers are integrated into the website and we share parts of the Personal Identification Data with these services in order to provide the functionality these third-party services offer. Some of these services can be managed through the Cookie Setting Platform.
Microsoft Azure
Microsoft Azure is used to host the service and to process and store most of the information of the service. Statics about user activity of the website is collected. See https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/privacy/privacystatement
Purpose of Processing
Permobil processes Medical Device User data solely to:
- Provide ongoing support and aftercare services to the Consumer to fulfil contract with the Consumer.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes, considering legal, operational, and security requirements. Specific retention periods are detailed in service-specific notices where applicable.
Your Data - Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Correction: Request updates to inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: Request deletion of data when no longer necessary for legal or contractual obligations.
- Restriction: Request limited processing of your data under certain conditions.
- Objection: Object to data processing unless legally required for service fulfillment.
- Portability: Obtain and reuse your data for your own purposes across different services.
